QUEEN, nouveau coffret On Air [Actus Métal et Rock]

 

Queen replonge dans ses archives pour la sortie d’un coffret intitulé On Air qui compile leurs sessions à la BBC enregistrées entre 1973 et 1977 et dévoile en premier extrait la version rapide de We Will Rock You.

 

 

Après Led Zeppelin c’est  au tour de Queen de sortir ses sessions d’enregistrement à la BBC. Elles sortiront sous la forme d’un coffret de six CDs  ou ou dans une compilation Double CD ou triple vinyls baptisé On Air qui sera disponible le 4 novembre 2011 via le label Virgin.

Ces sessions enregistrées entre février 1973 et octobre 1977 comprennent 24 enregistrements inédits ou alternatif de 19 titres du groupe. On pourra y trouver entre autre la chanson See What A Fool I’ve Been qui ne figure sur aucun album studio de Queen ainsi que la version rapide de We Will Rock You souvent jouée en live mais qui n’avait jamais été publiée dans une version studio jusque-là. Tous ces titres ont été spécialement remasterisé pour l’occasion.

Le coffret comprendra en plus un troisième CD live avec des extraits de trois concerts à Londres en 1973, à Sao Paulo en 1981 et à Mannheim en 1986. Trois autres CD contiendront des interviews radios des différents membres de Queen enregistrées entre 1976 et 1992.
